Installation Details
The Privy Kitty comes pre-assembled for your convenience, requiring only installation to your home.
- Wall Opening Needed is a precise 8 ½” X 9”, ideally positioned between wall studs.
- *Note: Walls thicker than 6 inches may need to extend weather flashing to outer wall prior to calking.
- Exterior Space Requirements: Ensure an outdoor clearance of 17” high x 19” wide, with a total height of 36” when the lid is fully open.
- Mounting Instructions: The unit mounts securely to an exterior ledger, ensuring a sturdy and weather-resistant fit.
- Exterior Portal fits inside of the interior portal.
- Once Privy is installed, it must be accessible and it needs room to properly hook the lid open.
- Comes with two templates and instructions
- Installation can be completed as a DIY project or by hiring a licensed contractor.
